Landed Amount Calculator

Enter what leaves your account and every charge you can see. The result is the amount that arrives — the only number worth comparing.

If the provider quotes an exchange rate instead of a margin, compare it with the mid-market rate at the same moment to estimate the margin.

Build the true cost from the bottom

Start from the amount that arrives, add back every fee and the rate difference, and divide by the amount that left. That is the all-in cost. It is the only way to compare a zero-fee provider with a low-margin one.

Intermediary deductions

Some international transfers pass through correspondent banks that deduct a fee along the way. The sender sees a completed transfer; the recipient sees less. Ask the recipient for the credited amount, not the sent amount.

Frequently asked questions

What is the FX margin?

The difference between the provider's rate and the mid-market rate, usually expressed as a percentage. It is part of the cost even when the fee is zero.

Why compare the landed amount?

Because every provider structures charges differently. The landed amount captures all of them in one number.

Are receiving fees always charged?

No. Some corridors and account types have none. Confirm with the recipient's bank.
